Bista nomination in mourning

GULMI: Former minister and CPN-UML leader Gokarna Bista today filed his candidacy from constituency 3 of Gulmi.
Bista has been in mourning after his father’s death on Friday night at the age of 83.
He walked to district headquarters Tamghas from his ancestral home in Doholi and returned home in the evening on foot.
UCPN-M’s Bam Dev Chhetri, NC’s Trailokya Pratap Sen have filed candidacy from constituency 3. Bhesh Raj Kandel, Mohan Pandey, Mina Nepali, Manju Senwali, Geeta Bhandari, Birendra Bhusal, Tulsi Bahadur Rayamajhi and Deepak Aryal have registeredas independent candidates from the same constituency.
Leaders of 13 parties registered with DEO on the last day of submission of candidacy. UML leader Pradeep Gyawali also registered his name from constituency 2. Source: The Himalayan Times
